Lenten book study
ADAM HAMILTONS "FINAL WORDS FROM THE CROSS"
On Tuesday mornings at 10 am in the FLC, room 107, beginning on February 24th and running for six weeks. Open to all.
Serious effort and increased pain required for Jesus to speak as he hung on the cross, Jesus spoke seven “final words”—statements that have much to teach us about Jesus, his Father, and ourselves.
In 24 Hours That Changed the World, Adam Hamilton took us on a Lenten journey through the last day of Jesus' life. Now in this inspiring follow-up book, Hamilton explores these final words as seen and heard through the eyes and ears of those who stood near the cross.

Share the Dream: Shining a Light in a Divided World Through the Six Principles of Martin Luther King Jr. by Matthew Daniels & Chris Broussard
"Dr. King and the men and women around him were able to change history through the power of a dream that was not rooted in mere human principles. That dream was rooted in the love of God for all his children made in his image."
Led by Pastor Aryn Williams-Ruebel we will meet Sundays at 5pm in the Resource Room of the Admin Building, January 11- February 15, 2026.
You may purchase your copy HERE on Amazon or at local bookstores.

men's bible study
Begun in 2019, our Men’s Bible Study group meets Thursday mornings at 9:00AM in the Admin Conference Room. Strictly a study of the Books of the Bible, some choose to use commentaries to gain further insight into the material and provide clarity. As we reach the close of the book we are studying, we select another.
The foremast is a discussion, instead of lecturing. All are welcome, even if not members of St. Luke’s, as we respect each other as well as thoughts and ideas.
We are currently studying Hebrews.
